薬剤性過敏症症候群(DiHS)は、好酸球増多と全身症状を伴う薬物反応(DRESS)とも呼ばれ、ヒトヘルペスウイルス(HHV)の再活性化に伴う致死性の炎症性疾患である。DiHS/DRESSは、急性汎発性滲出性膿疱症およびStevens-Johnson症候群/毒性表皮壊死融解症を含む、重篤な皮膚有害反応(SCAR)と名付けられた症候群群の中に分類される。SCARは、主にT細胞の活性化を特徴とする遅延型IV型過敏症反応である。
Drug-induced hypersensitivity syndrome (DiHS) ─also termed as drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS)─ is a potentially lethal inflammatory disease associated with human herpesvirus (HHV) reactivation. DiHS/DRESS is classified within a group of syndromes named severe cutaneous adverse reactions (SCARs), including acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis and Stevens-Johnson syndrome/toxic epidermal necrolysis. SCARs are delayed type IV hypersensitivity reactions mainly characterized by T-cell activation.
