抄録

目的:

本論文は、放射線科医に鈍性脊髄損傷における臨床的・放射線学的ミスマッチを説明するために使用される用語を理解してもらうことを目的とし、また、小児と成人の両方の患者に対するMRI所見とその予後の評価を行うことを目的としている。

OBJECTIVE: This article aims to familiarize radiologists with the terms used to describe clinicoradiologic mismatch in blunt spinal cord injuries, and also assesses MRI findings and their prognostic value for both pediatric and adult patients.

結論:

放射線異常を伴わない脊髄損傷の語彙、MRI所見のスペクトル、画像診断による予後予測因子の知識は、正確な画像診断を行うのに役立ち、エビデンスに基づいた予後情報を提供することができる。

CONCLUSION: Knowledge of the lexicon of spinal cord injury without radiographic abnormality, the spectrum of MRI findings, and imaging predictors of outcome can help render a precise imaging diagnosis and can provide evidence-based prognostic information.
