抄録

2019年12月、中国の武漢市で新たなコロナウイルスの発生が報告されました。1月末、WHOはこの発生を国際的に懸念される公衆衛生上の緊急事態と宣言した（WHO、2020年）。ドイツでは、2月から6月にかけて18万6461人の感染者が急増したと報告された（Robert-Koch-Institut, 2020）。呼吸器疾患によって引き起こされるこのパンデミックは、人口のための歯科医療という点で、歯科医療従事者に前例のない課題を提示している。

In December 2019 an outbreak of a new corona virus was reported in the city Wuhan, China. End of January, the WHO declared this development as a public health emergency of international concern (WHO, 2020). Germany reported a rapidly increasing number of 186,461 infected persons in the period from February to June (Robert-Koch-Institut, 2020). This pandemic, caused by a respiratory disease, presents the dental profession with an unprecedented challenge in terms of dental care for the population.
