この記事では、看護教員がライティング課題を開発するのを支援するための4段階のインストラクショナルデザインフレームワークについて説明します。このフレームワークは、教員が目的、目的、方向性、評価(PODE)を持って課題を設計することを奨励しています。PODEフレームワークを使用することで、学生のライティング課題に対する教員のフラストレーションが軽減され、課題と学生のライティングスキルの質を継続的に向上させることができる可能性があります。このフレームワークを使用した教員は、コースの課題の開発、評価、修正を改善し、結果的に学生の作品をより良いものにするのに役立つことがわかっています。

This article describes a four-step instructional design framework to assist nursing faculty with development of writing assignments. The framework encourages faculty to design assignments with a purpose, objectives, directions, and evaluation (PODE). Use of the PODE framework may reduce faculty frustration with students' writing assignments and allow for continuous quality improvement of assignments and students' writing skills. Faculty who have used the framework found it useful to improve development, assessment, and revision of course assignments, resulting in better work from students.
